This week's report is from the UK's very own Office of National Statistics.
I wanted to show some of the amazing things Power BI can do - from shape maps to the rarely used treemap (does this count as a horizontal Mikko chart maybe?) to enhanced data labels and even some overlapping columns. I wanted the design to be intuitive - the user starts by looking at a regional comparison, and they can drill down by hovering on any of the cards to a specific region - and seeing which countries send them the most visitors - by spending, nights spent, or by # of visits.
I'm also very proud of the vertical SVG you can see in the Matrix in the details tab - this is an SVG I made for this entry. It combines each SVG from each row to create a cohesive visual inside the matrix.
Hope you like this one!

The Pareto chart with the adjustable parameter control is really cool.
Love this report. Sleek and love how you can adjust the pareto %. Amazing work.
I really like the dynamic Pareto chart embedded in the matrix (on the details tab). Very cool inclusion!
